Introducing

Maha is a professor of Dental Public Health, and current Vice Dean for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt. Her research interests include global oral health, social determinants of health, dental workforce issues, dental education, oral health & sustainable development, e-learning and e-assessment. Maha has published more than 200 papers in international journals and several book chapters and collaborates with several international research groups. She is a Senior Editorial Board Member with BMC Oral Health and a member of the editorial board of PeerJ and Frontiers in Oral Health and on the Advisory Board of Community Dentistry & Oral
Epidemiology. She is the secretary of the e-Oral Health Network and a member of the Behavioral, Epidemiologic & Health Services Research (BEHSR) Group of the International Association of Dental Research.
